Financial Policy

In order to make payment plans convenient for our patients, we offer several options for payment.

Insurance

We gladly file all insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients, however, we consider the patient primarily responsible for the account. If you have insurance, your estimated payments are due in full at the time of service. Fees for services rendered are within the norm for this area and represent appropriate charges for the quality of care received. Insurance companies do not base their payments on the fees of our office, but by a predetermined fee schedule set by the company.

This fee schedule is often below the true and usual and customary fee. Your insurance is a contract between you, your employer, and the insurance company. A dentist is not a party to that contract. We do not base your diagnosed treatment on insurance coverage. We base it on your needs and desires; however, we will do everything possible to help you obtain maximum benefits.

Please notify us of any changes in your insurance each time you visit us. We encourage you to bring your benefits booklet with you on your first visit so we can help assist you understand your benefits. Please feel free to call our office at (843) 216-7488 if you have questions.

Payment Options

We accept all major credit cards, ATM cards, cash, and personal checks. In addition, we understand one of the major concerns our patients have is how they are going to pay for all of their dental needs. To assist our patients in achieving optimal dental health, we have made arrangements for patients to have several options for outside financing.

We have plans that offer six months interest free. Arrangements can be made with an in-office application, one simple phone call CareCredit (800) 677-0718), or you can apply online to have the option of financing with Care Credit www.carecredit.com.
